The Town of Saugeen Shores is thanking the Power Workers’ Union for their $100,000 sponsorship.
This sponsorship went towards the second level viewing gallery in the pool area of the Pryde Aquatic and Wellness Centre.
Bob Masterson, Power Workers Union Bruce Site Sector 1 representative, says the power workers union is proud to be a donor, he also talks about the opportunity the centre provides.
“This centre provides an opportunity for not only Power Worker members but all members of local communities to enjoy wellness and fitness options in a fabulous indoor facility; from swimming to walking, from pickleball to basketball.”
Saugeen Shores Mayor, Luke Charbonneau says the town is grateful to the PWU’s support for the centre.
“This $100,000 donation to the Pryde Aquatic and Wellness Centre reflects the meaningful role they play locally and their strong commitment to both the community and their workers.”
The PWU’s donation was one of many honourable donations that helped the town surpass its 3 million funding goal for the Pryde Aquatic and Wellness Centre.
