Phase 3 of Goderich’s downtown revitalization project is officially underway.
Tuesday is when new trees will be planted as a part of the construction.
Mayor Trevor Bazinet shared an update during his remarks for yesterday’s council meeting.
“We’re about five and a half weeks ahead of last year’s schedule, so that’s nice to see,” Bazinet shared. “All business are open, all front door entrances, just like Phase 1 and Phase 2.”
Director of Community Services Sean Thomas explained that Tuesday’s tree planting will start at West Street, then continue with the flow of traffic around the downtown square.
