The Wingham Legion will be the site of a milestone donation for a Huron County-based fundraiser.
The Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund (DMMF) announced they will donate their 250th defibrillator to the Wingham Legion Branch 180 on April 22nd.
Officials say the donation will be made in memory of Corporal Matthew Dinning, a Canadian military serviceman from Wingham who died in 2006 in Afghanistan.
According to the fund, seven lives have been saved using defibrillators donated by the DMMF since 2009.
Their next fundraiser is the Run Around The Beach in Goderich, running through the Spring.
