The OPP say they’ve arrested and charged a fourth person in relation to an investigation into a series of break and enters in Grey County.
Grey Bruce OPP say a 25-year-old Port Colborne man was arrested on Tuesday and charged with possession of property obtained by crime, and several firearms offences.
Police say the arrest is the fourth in connection with an ongoing investigation into break and enters affecting residences and businesses in Meaford, Grey Highlands and Southgate. Grey Bruce OPP have been investigating multiple property crimes reported in the region since August 2025. Last month, three people were arrested and charged.
The OPP say their officers have recovered about $43,000 in stolen property to date, including power tools, a welder and a semi-automatic rifle.
“Most items have been successfully linked to their rightful owners,” Grey Bruce OPP say in a release.
