The Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority (NVCA) has issued a watershed safety statement.
Rainfall overnight into today, has contributed to increased runoff and rising water levels in local watercourses.
An additional 15 to 20 millimetres of precipitation is possible over the next 48 hours.
Flooding is not anticipated at this time; however, water levels and flows in local rivers and streams are expected to rise in response to the forecast rainfall.
