South Bruce OPP are holding a youth police academy that will last for six weeks.
This program is for high school students in grades 10-12 who live in southern Bruce County and want to learn more about policing.
The topics being covered include general patrol duties, major criminal investigations, canine services, emergency response, forensic identification, collision reconstruction, and impaired driving investigations.
The program will be held at the South Bruce OPP Kincardine detachment on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:30 p.m., beginning April 22nd, 2026, and concluding May 27th, 2026.
The deadline for the application is April 10th, 2026. Successful applicants will be notified by email.
