Hanover Police have charged a 33-year-old man with theft after items were taken from unlocked vehicles.
Police say that on Monday, March 23rd, officers were investigating overnight thefts from unlocked vehicles, where the suspect stole power tools and other items.
The thefts took place in the areas of 16th Street and 21st Avenue.
It was also found that the suspect had tried to enter other vehicles that were locked.
Police arrested a male suspect and charged him with two counts of theft under $5,000 and two counts of trespassing by night. The power tools were recovered and returned.
The accused was later released on conditions to appear in Walkerton court for the charges.
