The Town of Hanover has issued a warning to residents and business owners.
The town has seen an increase in reported rodent sightings over the last few weeks and are taking measures to protect the town.
The town is advising people to:
- Properly store and secure garbage
- Keep grass, weeds, and brush trimmed
- Eliminate clutter and debris around buildings
- Remove potential food sources from yards and exterior areas
Town bylaws require everyone to take the necessary steps in order to slow the rodent activity in homes and buildings.
