
Following a smash and grab jewellery robbery in the Georgian Mall Tuesday evening – Barrie Police are appealing to a specific group of Barrie residents for help in the investigation.
Police are asking residents and motorists in the areas of McVeigh Drive, Cundles Road West, and Leacock Drive to review home security, doorbell, or dash camera footage recorded between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on March 17th.
Below is a list and descriptions of the suspects.
Suspect 1:
- Male, late teens to early 20s
- Thin build, roughly 5’8” – 5’10”
- Black puffy winter jacket with logo on the upper arm
- Black hooded sweater with hood up
- Dark grey sweatpants with rips
- Orange gloves
- Light grey running shoes
- Carrying a hammer and dark-coloured bag
Suspect 2:
- Male, late teens to early 20s
- Thin build, roughly 5’8”– 5’10”
- Black hooded sweater with hood up
- Black face covering
- Black sweatpants
- Grey running shoes
- Green gloves
- Carrying a reusable bag
Suspect 3:
- Male, late teens to early 20s
- Medium build, roughly 6’ tall
- Black hooded sweater with large logo on front
- Black face covering
- Light-coloured sweatpants with blue clothing visible underneath
- Black athletic-style shoes
- Green gloves
- Carrying a green reusable shopping bag
Suspect 4:
- Male, late teens to early 20s
- Thin build, roughly 5’8”– 5’10”
- Black hooded sweater with hood up
- Black face covering and sunglasses
- Black sweatpants with grey clothing visible underneath
- Black shoes and gloves
- Carrying a hammer and dark-coloured bag
