From: Huron County OPP
Huron County teens interested in pursuing law enforcement can get an early start.
The OPP detachment in Clinton is hosting a Youth Leadership Academy for teens aged 14-18.
The Academy sessions start on April 15th and are held every Wednesday evening from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm through June 10th.
OPP say the academy is an opportunity for area youth to learn more about policing, and many other topics pertaining to young people today.
The deadline to register is March 24th, and you can find the link here.
Successful applicants will receive community service time credits and a certificate upon completion of the Academy training.
