Simcoe North MPP Jill Dunlop announced ice storm relief for her riding.
The province is providing up to $9,022,000.00 for ice storm assistance in Simcoe North.
Orillia will receive over six million dollars, Ramara 1.5 million, Severn 1.2 million with Pentetanguishene, Tiny and Tay receiving funds from 29-thousand to 82-thousand dollars.
The funding is part of Ontario’s $90 million Municipal Ice Storm Assistance program and will help cover clean-up and emergency response costs due to a severe winter weather event on March 28, 2025.
