The Kiwanis Club of Owen Sound gave $2,500 to Chapman House this week.
The financial gift was raised by the club at their Christmas wrapping booth that was set up at Heritage Place.
A cheque was presented by members of the Kiwanis on Thursday to representatives of the Grey Bruce Hospice Foundation.
The money will be put towards updates for the children’s room, which provides activities and experiences for children who either stay at Chapman House, or are visiting a loved one.
This is the third year for the donation by the Kiwanis from their Christmas wrapping booth.
To date, they’ve given $8,000 to Grey Bruce Hospice.
