Caledon OPP have laid a number of charges against two people as part of an arson investigation.
On February 6th, police responded to a residential house fire in the area of Mount Wolfe Road and Old Church Road in Caledon.
No injuries were reported, but the fire was deemed suspicious.
That led to an investigation by the Caledon Major Crimes Unit.
On Friday, police carried out a search warrant, where evidence related to the investigation was seized.
A 42-year-old and a 47-year-old, both from Caledon, are facing charges including arson, public mischief, and fraud over $5000.
They’re both expected in court in May.
