The Municipality of Meaford is inviting residents to nominate outstanding local volunteers for the 2026 Community Builder Award.
The annual award recognizes an individual who has made a meaningful and lasting impact on the community through volunteer service. It celebrates dedication, leadership, and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Meaford.
Mayor Ross Kentner says the municipality thrives because of residents who generously give their time, energy, and passion.
“Our community thrives because of the countless residents who generously give their time, energy, and passion,” Kentner said. “The Community Builder Award is our opportunity to celebrate those individuals who embody the spirit of Meaford and help make it such a vibrant and welcoming place to live.”
All nominations will be reviewed by Meaford Council during a closed session.
Residents have until Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 12 p.m. to submit a nomination.
The nomination form and information sheet are available online at meaford.ca/communitybuilder, and print copies can be picked up at the Municipal Office at 21 Trowbridge Street West.
