A 34-year-old Central Elgin resident is facing multiple charges following an intimate partner violence investigation in Huron County.
The Ontario Provincial Police say officers responded to an incident involving intimate partners in Morris-Turnberry Township on January 16, 2026.
Following an investigation, police allege the suspect committed criminal offences against their partner.
The accused has been charged with two counts of criminal harassment and one count of forcible confinement under the Criminal Code.
Police say the individual was arrested, held for a bail hearing, and later released from custody. They are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich at a later date.
