South Bruce OPP are urging the public to avoid walking onto frozen waterways.
As the temperatures begin to warm up, ice on lakes and rivers is thinning quickly.
OPP are reminding residents to stay alert and remember, no ice is safe ice.
Falling through the ice could be deadly and puts first responders at risk as well.
If you’re near the shoreline, keep a safe distance and keep children and pets close.
