A New Tecumseth has been charged after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle almost seven months ago.
On July 25th, 2025, Nottawasaga OPP were called after a pedestrian was hit by an electric motorcycle.
Investigators learned it was a 13-year old that was operating the electric dirt bike on a public roadway.
They also found the dirt bike had been purchased by a parent, who allowed the youth to operate it on the roadway.
A 43-year old has been charged with dangerous operation causing bodily harm.
Meanwhile the 13-year old, also from New Tecumseth, was charged with careless driving causing bodily harm.
