The Owen Sound Attack have added to their forward group.
The team issued a statement Tuesday to announce the signing of Jared Langdon, 19, from the BCHL’s Blackfalds Bulldogs.
The 6-foot, 194-pound left-shot forward had 20 points in 34 games for the Bulldogs this season. He was originally a fourth-round pick of the Attack in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection.
Langdon has an NCAA Division 1 hockey commitment with Clarkson University.
““With the shortage of forwards and the ability to bring in players from the BCHL this was a very easy decision for us having known Jared previously. Jared brings a strong 200-foot-game with the ability to play centre and win face offs,” Attack General Manager Dale DeGray says in a team statement.
Langdon will wear No. 26 for the Attack and is expected to make his debut Wednesday night when they host the Kitchener Rangers.
