The Owen Sound and North Grey Union Public Library is celebrating Family Literacy Day with an event this month.
On Jan. 24, families with children ages up to six-years-old are invited to come to the library from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to join the annual celebration.
Family Literacy Day highlights the importance of reading together to support children developing literacy skills.
The library says this year’s celebration is all about building and construction with crafts and building activities. There will also be snacks.
