Meaford is inviting residents to join Mayor Ross Kentner for his annual levee.
This long-standing new year’s tradition is being held this afternoon from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Major-General Richard Rohmer Meaford International Airport.
The levee allows community members to speak to the mayor and members of council as the municipality celebrates the 25th anniversary of amalgamation.
Kentner says he is looking forward to gathering with residents.
“This annual levee is a meaningful opportunity to celebrate our community, our shared accomplishments, and the commitment that continues to shape Meaford. I’m pleased to once again host the event at Williams on 26 at the major-General Richard Rohmer Meaford International Airport,” says Kentner.
All are welcome to attend the free event, which will offer light refreshments.
