The Township of Georgian Bluffs is encouraging people to get out and enjoy the winter season with free ski days.
These free access days to the Bruce Ski Club’s scenic trails are returning on Jan. 4, Feb. 8 and March 1.
Access is limited to Georgian Bluffs residents only.
On these days, people can enjoy over 25 kilometres of groomed trails available for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking at Sawmill Nordic Centre in Hepworth and Colpoy’s Ski Trail located northeast of Wiarton.
People looking to take part will be asked to sign a waiver then they arrive.
Additionally, those in need of equipment can visit Suntrail Source for Adventure to rent what they need.
The ski days are weather-dependent and updates or cancellations will be posted on the township’s website here.
