A couple of organizations in the region are receiving holiday financial support from McDougall Energy.
To support people during the holiday season, the company is distributing $75,000 to 23 charities and non-profit organizations across Ontario with the goal of tackling food insecurity and give back to the communities the company serves.
The organizations in Grey Bruce receiving financial support include OSHaRE in Owen Sound and Kincardine Area Community Services Association.
“The company remains committed to supporting the communities it serves, not only during the holidays but throughout the year. By contributing to these organizations, McDougall Energy aims to help make the holidays brighter for individuals and families while encouraging others in the community to get involved and support local initiatives,” says the company in a release.
