South Bruce OPP say a person from Brockton is facing assault charges following a family dispute.
On Dec. 15 around 8:39 p.m., police say officers responded to the dispute at a home along Orange Street in Brockton.
When officers arrived on the scene, police say the suspect fled behind the home.
When officers approached the suspect, police say the individual was combative towards officers before being taking into custody.
As a result, the 34-year-old accused was charged with three counts of assaulting a peace officer, and three counts of breaching recognizance.
The accused is set to appear in court in Walkerton next month.
