Funding has been announced to create recreational opportunities in South Huron.
The Ontario government announced $89,900 over twelve months for the Municipality of South Huron to recruit a Recreation Coordinator.
The role of that position will be to create inclusive programs, promote physical activity, and strengthen facility usage and community well-being.
Funding will come from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, to provide local residents with better access to the critical programs, services, activities and spaces.
