Bruce County Paramedic Services has received a generous donation from a Walkerton business.
On December 2nd, Marvin Freiburger and Sons Inc. dropped off a donation of $1,000, delivered by Angela Freiburger and her son, Ben.
The donation was received by Paramedic Services Deputy Chief Raymond Lux.
The donation will be used to fund IV training for skill retention and development of paramedic staff.
A portion of the money will also fund the purchase of Big Bruce stuffed toys, which provide support and comfort to young children who may have to take an ambulance ride.
Paramedic Services Director and Chief Steve Schauss said that they appreciate the generosity, and that the Freiburgers’ annual support of Bruce County Paramedic Services makes a difference in the community.
