Barrie Police are investigating a robbery at Georgian Mall this morning.
Police say witnesses reported the victim had withdrawn cash at an ATM around 10am – he was confronted by a man who robbed him and also took the time to assault a bystander. The suspect then took off through an exit toward Stanley Street..and then made his way to Bayfield Street.
Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the robbery or assault is asked to contact Barrie Police.
Police are encouraging the public to call police if they witness a crime in progress, and to be mindful of their own safety at all times.
