Some trail repairs are being completed at Harrison Park this week.
An advisory from Owen Sound City Hall says asphalt repairs are taking place along the Mile Drive and Freedom trails.
“Temporary signage will be posted at affected trailheads to help guide users during this work,” a release from the city explains.
The Freedom Trail runs from the entrance at Harrison Park at 1st Street East, to the playground areas and parking lot. While the Mile Drive trail is located on the east side of the Sydenham River, and runs through the forest and campground area.
City staff are reminding trail users to be aware of the repair work happening this week, and reminding them to avoid walking on closed sections.
