OPP have laid charges in a sexual assault investigation that began in the summer.
Police say their investigation into sexual assault allegations began in July of 2025, and identified victims dating back to 2022.
Officers have now charged a 30 year old Huron County man with:
- Sexual assault (three counts)
- Sexual exploitation
- Assault
- Luring a person under 16 years of age by means of telecommunication
- Makes, prints, publishes or possess for the purpose of publication any child pornography
- Communicate with anyone for the purpose of obtaining sexual services
The accused is known to have travelled out of province as a long-haul trucker, particularly to Manitoba and Alberta, police say.
Investigators are urging anyone who may have been impacted, experienced similar circumstances or has information about the accused’ activities that could assist the investigation to contact police.
