You can support a Huron County theatre, while also supporting homeless initiatives along Ontario’s West Coast.
The Blyth Festival Theatre will donate $5 from ticket sales for “A Huron County Christmas Carol” during their December 3rd preview.
That money will benefit the Northern Huron Connection Centre (NHCC) at St. Paul’s Trinity Anglican Church in Wingham.
The NHCC is a welcoming, safe space for the community’s most vulnerable to rest, access basic needs, healthcare services, identification assistance and more.
Partnerships with agencies — including CMHA Huron Perth which operates the NHCC — mean individuals can access important services and supports under one roof.
Last year, there were 834 total visits to the NHCC and 27 people were housed.
