Bruce Power and its supplier partners are making a $20,000 donation to Childcan.
The donation will assist Childcan’s efforts to support families in Bruce, Grey and Huron counties who have been impacted by childhood cancer.
Childcan offers financial assistance to families, including providing meal vouchers, taking care of utility bills, and other expenses.
Executive Director of Childcan Suzanne Fratschko Elliott says they are grateful for the donation .
“Many of these families receive care at Children’s Hospital in London, and thanks to the generosity of Bruce Power and their supplier partners, Childcan can walk alongside them, helping to ease the financial, emotional and social burdens of a childhood cancer diagnosis,” says Elliott.
This comes after Childcan recently held a pajama walk fundraiser in Owen Sound.
