Barrie Police along with South Simcoe Police Street Crime have arrested a 42 year old Barrie man and charged him with 62 criminal offences.
Between September 23 and October 22, 2025, 16 break and enters were reported by primarily small commercial fast food businesses in the City of Barrie. The break-ins happened overnight, with cash registers, cash drawers and safes targeted for their cash.
The charges include Break and Enter, Disguise with Intent and Possession of Break In Tools.
The investigation is ongoing.
