The Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board is getting recognized for their most recent budget.
The school board received the Meritorious Budget Award (MBA) from the Association of School Business Officials International for the 2025-26 fiscal year.
The MBA program is a peer-reviewed process that sets a standard for excellence in school budget development and communication, and is designed to help school business professionals improve their financial planning.
It also ensures that district budgets are comprehensive and accessible for all community members.
In a media release, the Chair of the Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board, Lori DiCastri, said that the achievement is a testament to the dedication, expertise, and integrity of the school board’s finance team, who work tirelessly to ensure the board delivers strong stewardship, accountability, and sustainable financial performance.
