Five GTA area men have been charged by Orillia OPP with break and enter, kidnapping and forcible confinement.
Police were called to Colborne Street East on Saturday night for a report of suspicious activity by people wearing masks.
ON arrival at an abandoned building police found an adult male who was conscious but bound and suffering from serious injuries. He was taken to hospital.
With help from the OPP Emergency Response, Tactical and K9 units – the five people were found inside the building.
Police say there is no threat to pubic safety.
