Jake Crawford scored a pair of goals, one of them on the man advantage, as the Owen Sound Attack rode a hot power play to beat the Kitchener Rangers 5-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday night at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Cole Zurawski, Harry Nansi and Tristan Delisle also scored for the Attack, which led 1-0 after the first period.
Haeden Ellis and Jack Pridham had the goals for Kitchener. Both came early in the second period, giving Kitchener a 2-1 lead.
But the Attack would score three unanswered to end the second — all on the power play. Owen Sound finished 4 for 7 on the night.
The Attack (3-0-0-0) extended their winning streak to three to start the season. Kitchener (3-1-0-0) took its first loss.
Sunday, Owen Sound hosts the Barrie Colts at the Bayshore. Game time is 2 p.m.
