If you are a non-profit community organization in Arran-Elderslie, there could be a grant opportunity for you.
The municipality is inviting local community groups, volunteer organizations, and registered charities to apply for funding and in-kind support through the Grants and Community Support Program.
Mayor Steve Hammell says in a statement, “Community groups and volunteers bring our community to life,” adding, “This program is about supporting the organizations that make Arran-Elderslie a welcoming and vibrant place to live.”
They say it helps non-profit organizations deliver events, programs, and initiatives.
Two types of support are available: in-kind support – including the use of municipal spaces, equipment, or services. The other is through financial grants which can be used for community programs, events, festivals, and one-time start-up initiatives.
Applicants must be non-profit organizations, registered charities, or volunteer groups delivering programs that directly benefit Arran-Elderslie residents.
The application deadline is October 1st.
