Thanks to a tip and persistence from a citizen, Barrie Police arrested and charged a 34 year old Toronto woman with impaired driving yesterday afternoon.
The tipster, who was following the vehicle in question southbound on Bayfield Street while maintaining communication with police, observed beer cans and a bottle being thrown out the car window and watched it as veered into oncoming traffic on two occasions and followed it to a north Barrie Bayfield Street mall.
The accused has also been charged with Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand. She will appear in a Barrie court October 1st.
