Rama Police are warning the public to be cautious after a bear was seen this morning (August 21) at the Multi-Purpose Grounds on Rama Road in Orillia.
According to a Rama Police social media post, residents and visitors are asked to use precautions – be aware of your surroundings and keep food and garbage securely closed.
And Police say bear sightings should be reported to local authorities, bylaw officers or park rangers.
