Barrie Police have arrested an 80 year old male from Midhurst for possession of cocaine and drug trafficking.
Police were alerted to a man sleeping behind the wheel of a running vehicle around 7:30 last night in the parking lot of a Yonge Street coffee shop.
Drugs were seen in the car as well as trafficking paraphernalia. Further investigation revealed a quantity of drugs and cash. Having failed a field sobriety test, the suspect was tested for sobriety at HQ and found not to be impaired by drugs or alcohol.
He will be in a Barrie court September 10th.
