Orillia OPP are seeking tips about an assault after a man pushed a young rider off their bike on Atherley Road.
It happened just east of Forest Avenue Saturday just after 8 pm.
After the youngster was pushed off, the suspect started to damage the bike. The victim tried to stop this, but the suspect then brandished a knife towards the victim.
The suspect fled on a bicycle west on Atherley Road before turning south on to Forest Avenue South.
The suspect is described as a white male between 30 and 40 years old, standing 5’10” and weighing about 180 lbs.
He was wearing a black balaclava, black pants, a black and white checkered shirt and a black back pack. He was seen fleeing the area on a dark coloured mountain bike.
