Autumn in Muskoka wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Bala Cranberry Festival, returning for its 41st year from Friday, October 17 to Sunday, October 19, 2025.
This beloved annual tradition brings the community together for a weekend filled with colour, flavour, and unforgettable memories.
From the bustling artisan market and live entertainment to street performers, delicious local eats, and family-friendly attractions, the festival has something for everyone. Kids will love the expanded Kid Zone, featuring a trackless train, carnival games, and more.

The celebration extends beyond the festival grounds, with beloved community events such as the Rotary Club of Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Duck Race—taking place Saturday at 3 p.m.—and a vibrant vendor and farmers market at Portage Landing, offering even more to discover.
While you’re in town, be sure to visit the iconic Muskoka Lakes Farm and Winery.
