The city of Barrie wants residents to stay active and engaged at home with virtual recreation activities
It has launched the “Together At Home” digital hub, which provides a variety of recreational activities and resources to keep residents and their families entertained, while they’re maintaining physical distancing measures.
“We miss seeing the community at the City’s Recreation Centres participating in programs and staying active. The “Together At Home” hub allows us to stay connected and provide adapted programs and activities that residents can enjoy with their families while we’re all staying safe together at home,” said Steve Lee Young, Manager of Recreation.
The city says new activities will be shared weekly that will get residents moving, spark their creativity and hopefully brighten their day.
