The right northbound lane on Highway 11 in Oro-Medonte has re-opened after a single-vehicle collision that resulted in a diesel spill and damaged guardrail.
The crash happened at around noon yesterday between Line 7 and Line 10.
Cleanup of the spill and guardrail repairs are underway, but as of yesterday evening, Orillia OPP have advised drivers to be patient and expect significant delays and to avoid the area.
No injuries were reported after a transport truck had experienced a tire blowout, which caused the driver to lose control.
Northbound motorists can exit at Line 8 and follow Ridge Road East to Line 9. Southbound motorist should exit at Line 10 and use Sideroad 15&16 East or Old Barrie Road to Line 7 to access Highway 11.
