Bruce-Grey-Owen-Sound MP Alex Ruff is hosting a constituency barbecue Sunday.
“It should be a great Sunday afternoon and a great time to get out and meet other people in the community and at the same time, talk to me in person for those that can’t get into the office,” says Ruff.
The 4th annual barbecue is set to take place Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Chesley Community Park’s Chesley Kinsmen’s pavilion.
There will be hamburgers and hot dogs, light refreshments and live entertainment.
He encourages people to bring their lawn chairs in case space may be limited. (There is some picnic seating under the pavilion).
Ruff says he plans to recognize one of the final remaining King Charles III Coronation Medal recipients. Over the past several months, a number of people in the riding have received medals through Ruff’s office, in recognition of their contribution to the community.
“If you have friends or family in the riding, I encourage you to pass along this invitation,” says Ruff.
Parking is available at the Chesley Community Centre.
