An Adult Protective Services program is re-launching in Grey Bruce.
Participation Lodge Grey Bruce (PLGB), which is a non-profit organization in the region, will be operating the program starting next month.
The PLGB says that the program is a vital support for adults with developmental disabilities since its inception in 1978.
It provides a variety of supports, including advocacy, case management, and service navigation.
The program was previously under the purview of Bruce Grey Child and Family Services up until March of this year.
Participation Lodge Grey Bruce says that they’ll be maintaining the familiar format where four staff members support the regional caseload.
They are aiming to help individuals with disabilities live independently, engage in community activities, and lead an enjoyable life.
Intake and program inquiries can be directed to Participation Lodge by phone or email.
