Tonight’s concert at the Shipyards Amphitheatre has been cancelled due to the weather.
Collingwood’s Live & Original Music summer concert series was meant to continue this evening, with performances by The Boys And I, Jason Wilson, and Ashara.
The show was meant to be free to attend and sponsored by the Town of Collingwood.
Festivals Coordinator Rosemarie O’Brien said in an e-mail “This decision is not made lightly, and we are very sorry that this is necessary, but the safety of everyone is always our greatest concern.”
Tonight’s forecast is calling for rain and possible thunderstorms, leading to organizers calling off the show.
