South Bruce OPP says a novice driver is facing charges following a collision in Kincardine.
On July 18 around 1:30 a.m., police say officers received a report of a suspicious person at an address along Concession 2.
When police arrived on the scene, they found a vehicle was involved in a collision along Bruce Road 20 before the driver attended the address on Concession 2.
Police say the investigating officer detected signs of impairment and the driver was transported for further testing.
As a result, the 19-year-old from Kincardine was charged with driving while impaired, dangerous operation, and being a novice driver with a blood alcohol concentration above zero.
The are set to appear in court in Walkerton next month.
