Grey Highlands is going to consider making a zoning amendment for a proposed subdivision to increase the number of available units.
The proposed subdivision in Markdale aims to create 471 residential detached and townhouse units.
The zoning amendment council will consider for the 32.8 hectare land would increase the number of units to 483.
A public planning hearing last month reviewed the proposed subdivision in which the applicant, Loon Call Development Group, aims to increase the number of townhomes in the proposal.
The increase would require the conversion of 18 single detached lots to 30 townhouse lots.
The applicant received draft plan approval for the proposed subdivision from Grey County in 2023.
Council will consider approving the zoning amendment during its meeting on Wednesday.
