It’s Emergency Preparedness Week across the province.
Residents are being reminded they should have an emergency survival kit, which contains everything you and your family would need to be safe and take care of yourselves for at least three days immediately following an emergency.
Some of the items include: non perishable food, manual can opener, bottled water, flashlight, medications, battery operated radio and candles, among other things.
