West Grey is making a zoning amendment to allow for a proposed subdivision in Durham.
Council approved making the adjustment for the Khanani Subdivision during its meeting on Tuesday, which is proposed to include about 67 single detached units and 65 townhouse units.
The draft plan also includes parkland, natural environment space, and an internal roadway with a new intersection with Grey Road 4 to be constructed.
This comes after a public meeting was held in September, 2023 on the proposed subdivision, which will site on about 11.7 hectares of land.
West Grey staff have identified no concerns with the proposed subdivision as several reports, assessments, and studies have been completed.
The municipality will work with Grey County on approving the draft plan, but final approval falls on the county.
