South Bruce OPP have arrested one person after an incident in Walkerton.
Police say at about 1:45 in the afternoon on Tuesday, December 10th, they received a report of an unwanted person at an address along John Street in Walkerton.
According to OPP, their investigation revealed an individual had brandished an edged weapon during an altercation. They say the accused had fled before police arrived, but they were found later and arrested without incident.
A 25-year-old from Hanover, has been charged with assault with a weapon.
